Floors and walls

Floors and walls

Wood, LVT and SPC, porcelain, carpet, panels and wallcoverings, chosen on samples and laid by teams we know.

Herringbone parquet rolling across the empty room

The point

You touch a floor every day, and nobody wants to lay it twice

So we choose it with you at home, on the real sample, with your light and your furniture around it.

What we bring

Six materials, one sample room

  1. 01

Laying herringbone

The first row decides all the others

A crooked herringbone shows from every corner of the room. That is why you start from the centre line, not from the wall.

  1. 01Mark the axis in the middle of the room
  2. 02Lay the first row at ninety degrees
  3. 03Each strip locks into the one before
  4. 04Cut at the edges and finish with the skirting

Example strip 90 × 600 mm, to scale.

Questions

What people ask us

Can it go over the existing floor?

Often yes: SPC and LVT are a few millimetres thick and go over tiles in good condition. We check doors and subfloor at the site visit.

Does wood work with underfloor heating?

Engineered wood does, glued down and at the right thickness. We point you to species and formats certified for it.

Who lays it?

Fitting teams we have worked with for years, or your own builder: either way we are on site on the day.
